Positives
-Food is always cooked to a high standard, A different level to all other take aways in the Town. there is a good choice and I have not yet encountered a bad dish.
-The service is friendly and efficient, the staff certainly make an effort to make you feel welcome and clearly value the business. They are also very good with children as i find with most chinese restaurants
The cook to order all you can eat buffet is a class above the pre heated offerings available at most other chinese restaurants. No need to brim your plate and stuff your self full in 10 minutes, relax, take your time and eat what you like off the menu.
Negatives
The staff can sometimes be a little pushy on the drinks, and some people may find them a little over friendly. (we don't by the way)
It can be a little quiet in there in the week, so atmosphere can be thin.
.
On balance, I think there is no better chinese in Bridgnorth. -

My partner and I have visited Legends on countless occasions as we live in Bridgnorth and I recommend it all the time to my friends. When family come to visit, they often ask to go back there.
I have only ever experienced a warm welcome there. One of the sisters who run the restaurant does not speak much English so perhaps she can come across as abrupt but that is just her manner, we find her to be welcoming. The other sister is very friendly and makes and effort to remember the names of frequent customers.
The food is always excellent. I think Lankyman has misunderstood the all you can eat Buffet. My partner and I regularly visit to take advantage of the all you can eat buffet. I think it is available Sunday to Thursdays until 9.30pm. Basically it is not like other all you can eat Chinese buffets that I ave been to where the food is sat out on hotplates for hours on end. The food is freshly made to order but you don't have to eat one dish at a time. The reason we like this option is that you can order several starters, we usually order 3 or 4 between us and then do the same for the main course. What you get is a small plate of each so it allows you to try a little bit of everything. You can keep ordering for as long as you like but this method avoids people ordering more food than they can actually eat and wasting it.
We have never had to wait long for our food, that is the beauty of wok cooked food, but it is fresh and worth waiting for anyway. Perhaps they were having an off day when Beadi visited as this has not been my experience in over 20 visits. -

After a visit to this restaurant today it is clear that they have a long way to go to make sure customers get the best experience they can get. Was tempted in by the promise of an unlimited buffet, however what is actually on offer is the choice to repeatedly order set dishes from a menu. What makes this difficult is that you have to finish a dish before ordering the next, resulting in a long gap between dishes. The staff were keen to sell extra drinks but not to take food orders, and were quite abrupt when this request was made. The seating area is comfortable, although could do with some refinement (one mesh screen was held in place by a house brick).
Whilst dining the managing staff were being quite rude and shouting at people dining at another table, which resulted in them making the restaurant feel very awkward, not a nice dining experience for anyone. One of the staff seemed to lunge for a male diner as he was leaving the restaurant, and again loud voices were heard outside. Doesnt seem to be an appropriate way of dealing with customers. Having seen this, I then declined to voice my own concerns about the so called buffet to avoid what I feared my have been a similar incident. Work needs to be done on talking to customers! -

The service at this restaurant is absolutely disgraceful! We went there this evening for and selected the buffet menu. We had our starter and had to 1 hour for our main even though there were only 6 people in the place. My food came but my friend's food did not so I asked where it was; it took 10 minutes and I had finished. I asked for some more food and was refused but told I could order drinks. I asked the owner and she said I had to wait for my friend to finish even though we had to wait 75 minutes for his food. The owners were extremely rude and we decided to leave and left £20 to pay for what we thought was a breach of the buffet's 'all you can eat' contract. When we left the owner stopped my friend from leaving and pinched him hard on his chest and then she came out and kung-fu kicked me. I would stand by this statement in any court of law!
